Striking a target develops agility, reflexes and strength, as well as providing similar benefits to striking a heavy bag. Target striking is a great tool to introduce individuals to sparring sessions. Moving around, punching and kicking, and defending against getting hit with the target works your whole body.

Healthy Sleep is vital for our health and wellbeing. It allows our body to rejuvenate and restore itself. It allows the body to create new cells. Sleep deprivation is one of the biggest causes of premature aging. Tiredness can significantly affect your mood and how you feel. Besides the usual brain fog and irritability that can come from lack of sleep, chronic tiredness can increase your risk of depression and anxiety. It can also affect the way that you respond and react to the people and situations around you. Nutrition and dietary supplements are inevitably linked to healthy sleep. The nutrients you give your body can directly affect the amount and quality of sleep you get.

The importance of sleep can be correlated to weight gain and obesity as well. There have been studies that show an increase in hunger and appetite and profound alterations in hormones that regulate hunger and appetite with a lack of sleep. When you're sleep-deprived, you may overeat well in excess of the caloric demands

As you can see, the importance of sleep plays a direct role in our overall health. If you do not get enough sleep you are hurting your body and putting yourself at a bigger risk of getting diseases and other health problems.

I originally started with ART & FITNESS around January 2006. After receiving a promossion at work, I was unable to attend classes for over three years. All that time, I was a member of a gym and I even tried another similar program, however, nothing compared to these guys.
